Head Cannon of Alfred Foster Jones

My head cannon of Al is that hes a bit...silly. Only at times, he can be somewhat serious but usually thats not the case. He just thinks everyone needs to chill and be able to laugh at least everyday! Alfred is a bit clumsy, but of course oh so fun loving!

Even through all the years of war, hes one of the few countries to retain some childlike innocence, hes also a bit naive with sexual things. Though he can understand some, and make a few perv jokes, he still isn't a real expert. Arthur did often exclude anything to do with Romance or Sexual activity away from Alfred to keep him so innocent, but now as a man whose seen many things, been through many things, he knows a bit better. But hes also really dense! So if someones crushing on him or flirting with him, he REALLY wont get it! Most of it has to do with a one sided love he had with a women. Ever since then he never really thought of himself as much to look at, but he really never focuses on that kind of stuff. He knows there are more important things than romance.

But still...everyone still wants someone to be held by or to hold. Someones hand to take when your scared. Someone to build you up when your breaking down. He never tells people about this part of him, hes actually poetic and really great in science and has opinions on everything. But bad judgement. He only voices opinions he thinks people will admire him for, bold ones. He says his thoughts out loud but his real opinions he puts thought into he usually keeps quiet. He also loves kids, he really wants to be a dad someday. He can just see himself in a lot of them, and he hates how bad the homeless rate is going up in his place. He hates knowing their are kids out there that need a hero like him. He has a self awareness for these types of things, sometimes it all piles up to so much crap he has to get through. But he takes a breath... and the world slows down. Alfred knows how to be laid back about important stuff.. but say the newest video game came out and America would have to wait a couple of months for shipping because he and Japan were in a very heated argument, he'd be sulking and have such a animated reaction.

As I said earlier, he knows how to relax. His biggest fault (that he knows about) is his pride. He'll say things he doesn't mean in a defensive of offensive way, and sometimes, regret saying it about two seconds later. But he cant take it back. Its too late. Its done. It cant be undone that's not possible, at least not to Alfred. He hates it when people tell him how to live, how to act, how to do anything. Unless its his boss hes a bit more okay with it then, but usually he likes doing things HIS way, because he wants to show everyone the amazing hero he is. Hes also very smart he just never shows those brains of his. Basically, Alfred is a guy with a good heart, who needs to get his priorities straight, and is pretty laid back. Ah and of course, hes a guy who LOVES McDonalds!

Alfred is a young man with a dream...a dream to be a hero that everyone looks up to. That everyone can count on. His eyes light up when he sees a famous super hero like Captain America, Superman, or Spiderman! He just wants to be someone great, though he sometimes is too..narcissistic for his own good. He doesn't believe in what others have to say and thats his greatest fault, and sometimes certain people can shake up this might hero and make him doubt his self. And THAT, is when he really falls to pieces..

But still, that will and passionate fire drives him on to continue trying to be the best hero he can be! He never gives up and he shall never give in! He always keeps his cheery face on to show people he can take care of himself, because truthfully the most painful thing for him was when he was younger and England was gone he would feel so weak because he usually relied on England. So when he broke away, it wasn't just for himself, it was for England too because as he grew, he saw England was dependent on him as well. So now, he relies on himself and his people. He will do his best to lead his people, he knows hes not perfect, but he doesn't spend time dweling on it when theres people to be saved! All America wants to do... is be your hero.
